Why You’ll Love This Role
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality meals that support our community. Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll contribute to large-scale food production while maintaining strong food safety standards and efficient kitchen operations.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team environment, supporting kitchen coordination, stock management, and continuous improvement in food service delivery.
Understudy the Head Chef.
Assist in the preparation of meals to be offered via the Community Foods operations in consultation with the Head Chef.
Assist with administration duties in conjunction with Head Chef.
Work in a cold environment
Providing direction to the kitchen attendants in the undertaking of their duties.
Maintaining a safe and secure working environment within the kitchen.
Maintaining Food Safety requirements, HACCP and ensuring adherence to relevant legislation.
Support the effective management of food costs.
Pack meals ready for distribution to clients
