CafΓ© ChΓ©rie headquarters is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef / PΓ’tissier to join our team full-time.

This role is perfect for a dedicated professional with strong technical skills in viennoiserie and pΓ’tisserie, who takes pride in quality, consistency, and craftsmanship.

 Hours: Full-time with early morning starts from 3:00–4:00am

You will be responsible for the daily production of our pastry and pΓ’tisserie range, working confidently during early morning shifts and collaborating closely with the kitchen team to support service and production needs.

β€’ Production and baking of viennoiserie and laminated doughs, including:

β—¦ Laminating, shaping, proving, and baking

β€’ Preparation and baking of pΓ’tisserie items, including:

β—¦ Cakes, tarts, and desserts

β—¦ Biscuits and small goods

β—¦ Savoury pastry items

β€’ Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation across all products

β€’ Managing production schedules to meet daily deadlines

β€’ Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient workstation

β€’ Adhering strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards

β€’ Communicating effectively with chefs and front-of-house teams

π’πŠπˆπ‹π‹π’ & π„π—ππ„π‘πˆπ„ππ‚π„ π‘π„ππ”πˆπ‘π„πƒ

β€’ Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional pastry or pΓ’tisserie role

β€’ Strong hands-on experience with laminated dough

β€’ Proven ability to produce cakes, biscuits, and savoury items to a high standard

β€’ Excellent time management and organisational skills

β€’ Exceptional attention to detail

β€’ Confidence working independently and as part of a team

β€’ Solid understanding of kitchen procedures and food safety regulations

β€’ Good communication skills and a positive, professional attitude

β€’ Strong knowledge of French pΓ’tisserie and classical techniques
