We’re on the hunt for an experienced and hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen and continue driving a consistent, high-quality food offering. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume pub environment, understands how to run strong kitchen systems and enjoys leading a team through busy service periods.
The menu focuses on quality, hearty pub fare with British influence, from pub classics and grill favourites through to share-style dishes and weekly specials.
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef in a busy pub, bistro or casual dining venue
Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of kitchen systems including rostering, invoicing, ordering, stocktaking and cost control
Experience managing labour and food costs while maintaining consistency and quality
Passion for delivering quality pub food with efficient service
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
A calm and solutions-focused approach during busy trade periods
