Head Barista

We’re hiring! 

Elixir 251 in the CBD is looking for a senior barista to join the team! 

We’re a high volume cafe that focuses on quality and customer service. We’re after baristas who have outgoing and friendly personalities, who love to engage with customers and have great banter. Must have a passion for specialty coffee and hospitality. 

The role that needs filling:

1. Head Barista (30-35 hours a week)

Ideally the successful applicant will have 2+ years experience in a similar role. You will manage the whole coffee operation including, but not limited to: 

- Overseeing the day-to-day operation 

- Serving consistently high quality beverages in a high volume environment 

- Confident in dialling in our seasonal blend

- Coffee quality and stock control 

- Ability to work in a team environment 

I will be looking for someone who is;

- Willing to learn

- Passionate about coffee 

- Looking to take their role in a cafe to the next level
