Summary:
As the Head Barista at our Aldersyde location, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our customers. This position is essential for maintaining high standards of quality and service, ensuring that our café remains a welcoming environment. You will lead a team of baristas, oversee daily operations, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the barista team, ensuring high levels of performance and customer service.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and food items to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including equipment and work areas.
- Train and mentor new baristas on coffee preparation techniques and customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive experience.
- Implement and uphold health and safety regulations within the café.
- Assist in developing new beverage recipes and promotional offerings.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role, preferably in a leadership position.
