We’re on the lookout for a Casual Chef to support the kitchen team across service periods and help deliver quality meals in a high-volume environment.
What you'll be doing:
Preparing and cooking meals to venue standards
Assisting across all sections of the kitchen during service
Maintaining consistency and presentation standards
Supporting stock control, rotation and minimising wastage
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen team
What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Experience in pub, bistro or high-volume service is highly regarded
Ability to stay calm and organised during busy periods
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen procedures
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and public holidays
