Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible for the right candidate)

Zephyr Café is looking for an experienced, passionate Chef to join our busy and well-loved waterfront café. If you take pride in quality food, work well in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a positive team culture—we’d love to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Prepare and deliver high-quality café-style breakfast & lunch
• Maintain consistency, presentation, and flavour across all dishes
• Manage kitchen operations during service
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met
• Assist with menu development and specials
• Work closely with FOH to deliver a great customer experience

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience as a Chef in a café or similar environment
• Strong knowledge of breakfast & lunch service
• Calm under pressure and well-organised
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
