Café Manager – Mumma Bee

The Role
Mumma Bee is seeking an experienced and motivated Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our shop. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and consistently maintains high standards across service, team leadership, and operations.
You will be responsible for overseeing both front-of-house service and back-of-house coordination, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while fostering a positive and productive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily café operations and service standards
* Lead, train, and manage a busy team with confidence
* Manage staff breaks , ordering, stock control, and inventory
* Deliver consistently high-quality customer service
* Maintain operational, food safety, and OHS compliance
* Support the team with hands-on leadership, including making great coffee and supporting food service during peak periods
* Maintain performance and standards during high-pressure periods, including weekends and holidays
What We Are Looking For
* Proven café or restaurant management experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
* Strong barista skills and the ability to lead coffee service
* Natural speed, efficiency, and composure during busy service
* Strong leadership, organisation, and decision-making skills
* Experience with ordering, and cost control
* Positive mindset with a genuine interest in building a supportive and collaborative team
* Reliable availability and commitment to a long-term role
