We are seeking a Café/Store Manager to take full responsibility for daily operations, staff supervision, and service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands both hospitality service and retail bakery environments.
- Oversee day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage and lead front-of-house staff, including rostering and training
- Maintain high standards of customer service and presentation
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements
- Work closely with ownership on performance, sales, and process improvement
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Cafe Manager or similar hospitality leadership role
- Strong understanding of café service, ideally within bakery or pastry settings
- Ability to manage staff and maintain accountability
- Sound knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Availability to work weekends and early starts
