We are seeking a Café/Store Manager to take full responsibility for daily operations, staff supervision, and service standards. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who understands both hospitality service and retail bakery environments.

  • Oversee day-to-day café operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage and lead front-of-house staff, including rostering and training
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and presentation
  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier coordination
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene requirements
  • Work closely with ownership on performance, sales, and process improvement
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly

Requirements 

  • At least 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Cafe Manager or similar hospitality leadership role
  • Strong understanding of café service, ideally within bakery or pastry settings
  • Ability to manage staff and maintain accountability
  • Sound knowledge of POS systems and basic reporting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Availability to work weekends and early starts
