We’re looking for an experienced barista to join our small team at our busy little hole-in-the-wall café in Mount Claremont.

We’re a young, friendly team who work hard, love good coffee, and enjoy having a laugh and a chat to get through the morning rush. While we can be fast-paced during peak periods, the environment is relaxed, supportive and genuinely enjoyable to work in.

We are a regulars-based café, so building relationships with customers and remembering the little things is just as important to us as making great coffee

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and responsible

• Friendly and confident with customers

• Efficient during busy periods

• Able to work independently and use initiative

• A team player who enjoys working in a small, close-knit crew

What we offer:

• Immediate start

• Minimum 20 hours guaranteed per week

• Potential for a permanent part-time contract

• Supportive team environment

• Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities including stock ordering and inventory management

Regular shifts:

 Wednesday & Thursday: 5:30am – 11:00am

 Friday & Saturday: 8:00am – 12:30pm

Responsibilities include:

• Making quality coffee in a fast-paced environment

• Customer service and taking orders

• Opening and closing duties

• Stock takes and ordering

• General café cleaning and maintenance

Previous barista experience is essential.
