Full Time Barista

Big Loaf is an independent, family-owned bakery dedicated to making exceptional food and coffee for our customers every day.

We’re looking for an experienced individual who believes hospitality is a craft.

Hospitality means putting the customer first. We believe our job is to make people’s day a little better—through great coffee, excellent food, genuine conversation, remembering the regulars, and never being too busy to help. Old school hospo to its core.

While coffee will be one of your core strengths, this is an all-round hospitality role. You’ll move throughout the day between making consistently great coffee, serving customers, preparing sandwiches and simple food, stocking displays, cleaning, maintaining presentation standards, and helping wherever the team needs support. No two shifts are the same.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality. Someone who enjoys staying busy, takes pride in doing the small things well, and understands that creating a great customer experience is everyone’s responsibility—not just the person on the coffee machine.

You’ll be joining a close-knit team that values craftsmanship, professionalism, continuous improvement, and looking after one another. This is a full-time position and includes a combination of weekday and weekend shifts across our trading hours.
