Barista

We are looking for some solid experienced Barista to join our team in our busy cafés in the CBD, operating Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm. 

Someone able to make delicious coffees, to work fast, clean and maintain high standards of service in a busy environment.

Our setup includes a 2 group Synesso machine, Puqpress and Mazzer grinder, using Double Double beans. We’re also looking to introduce new offers and develop a stronger coffee program as we continue to grow.

We pride ourselves in using the best local and international products, we work closely with our coffee roasters, small butchers and bakery.

Key requirements:

 -At least 3 years of experience as a barista 

-Knowledge of grinder and coffee machine adjustments as well as cleaning and maintenance

-Perfect milk texturing and latte art 

-Be able to multitask and be a team player

-Be organized and clean

-Be reliable, consistent and punctual

- Demonstrate exceptional communication and interaction with staff and guests

As we are opening a Third store in the next few months in the CBD, there is plenty of opportunities to grow and develop within the company.

The position comes with a great work life balance as you will work Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm, no weekends or public holidays and 2 weeks off for the Christmas and New year period during annual closure of the café.

We are offering a casual position, 5 shifts a week, between 30 to 35 hrs a week.
