Senior Front of House Supervisor / Assistant Manager (retail)
Common Bakery on Carrington street is looking for a Senior FOH Supervisor / Assistant Manager to lead service from the front with calm authority, strong coffee expertise, and a focus on consistency.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing FOH operations, guest experience, and coffee service standards. You’ll work closely with management to maintain structure, pace, and clarity across service — setting the tone for the team and ensuring every shift runs smoothly.
The role
- Lead FOH service with a strong floor presence
- Oversee coffee service standards and consistency
- Manage service flow, pacing, and guest experience in real time
- Support and develop FOH team members through service
- Maintain high standards across detail, communication, and execution
- Act as key point of contact during service
About you
- Strong coffee experience is essential (senior barista or FOH leadership)
- Proven experience in supervisory or assistant manager roles
- Calm, decisive, and confident in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of service flow and guest experience
- Hands-on leader who sets standards by example
- Values consistency, craft, and thoughtful hospitality
