The kitchen produces popular pub favourites such as:

  • Fish & Chips
  • Beef & Bacon Burgers
  • Scotch Fillet Steak
  • Chicken Parmigiana

Alongside regularly rotating seasonal specials including:

About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Apprentice Chef to join the energetic and supportive kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a strong foundation in commercial cookery while working in a high volume, professional kitchen environment.

The successful applicant will receive hands on training across all sections of the kitchen, work alongside experienced chefs, and complete a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery in a real world hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Assisting with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
  • Working across multiple kitchen sections during service
  • Completing kitchen hand duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment
  • Developing knife skills, cooking techniques, and kitchen workflows
About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
  • Genuine interest in food and the hospitality industry
  • Reliability and good time management skills
  • A positive attitude and team first approach
  • Basic knife skills (desirable but not essential)
