Brugan is a modern microbrewery built in 2021, located behind the iconic Wokalup Tavern. Together, Brugan and the Tavern operate a large 400‑seat restaurant offering a vibrant mix of traditional pub favourites and innovative seasonal dishes.

Our menu features classics such as:

• Fish & Chips
• Beef and Bacon Burger
• Scotch Fillet Steak
• Chicken Parmigiana

As well as our rotating seasonal items like:

• Peri Peri Chicken
• Pickled Octopus
• Grilled Tuna Steak

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Chef to join our fast‑paced and supportive kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across all kitchen sections while completing your Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.

You will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop strong culinary skills and contribute to a thriving kitchen environment.

• Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Food preparation and basic cooking tasks
• Working across all kitchen sections during service
• Completing kitchen hand duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised kitchen workspace
• Learning and developing knife skills, techniques, and workflows

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Interest and passion for food and the hospitality industry
• Good time management and reliability
• Basic knife skills (ideal but not essential)
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team

• A valid driver’s licence
