Union Kitchen is seeking a motivated 2nd year (or above) Apprentice Chef to join our vibrant, fast paced team. This is a fantastic opportunity to continue your Commercial Cookery qualification while working in a supportive, experienced kitchen environment.

Located on the beautiful Mindarie waterfront, Union Kitchen has been proudly serving the community for over 10 years. We offer breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, are fully licensed, dog friendly, and known for our warm, welcoming atmosphere. We’re also conveniently close to public transport.

The Role

As an Apprentice Chef, you will work under the guidance of our Head Chef and Sous Chef, gaining hands on experience across all areas of the kitchen. Duties include:

• Food preparation
• Grill work
• Pass service
• General kitchen operations

This is a full time position with strong potential for ongoing employment as a qualified chef upon completion of your apprenticeship.

We’re seeking someone who:

• Is currently in at least their 2nd year of a Commercial Cookery apprenticeship
• Is hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn
• Wants to complete their qualification and grow their career with us
• Is committed to long term development and ideally staying on as a full time chef
