Kitchen Attendant/Barista

We are seeking an enthusiastic staff member who thrives on early morning starts, and bringing joy to people first thing in the morning- with a smile and great coffee!

We currently have an opening in our rotating fortnightly roster, suitable for someone seeking an average of 40 hours per fortnight. This may increase in coming months due to staffing commitments, so flexibility is required.

You WILL be trained for a 4am opening shift, and expected to assist with these shifts when required.

We offer flexibility to work a rotating roster, but you MUST be able to work hours varying between 4am and 2.30pm to cover the needs of the business.

You will be part of a small, cohesive team- reliability and communication are relied upon heavily.

Greeting customers
Barista skills
General café duties
Food Preparation
Kitchen knowledge
General Cleaning

Position requirements:
Own transport- drivers license

Be available on weekdays
Have some experience as a Café All-rounder
Be outgoing and friendly
Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
Able to work well under pressure
Follow instructions and understand hierarchy
Work well in a team environment
Outgoing and have a friendly personality
Must have positive attitude, good work ethic, team player and communication skills and willing to assist in all necessary daily café duties
Have a passion for hospitality, food, coffee and customer service
Be available on weekdays and some weekend availability essential
