Fern Avenue Cafe is a vibrant, fast-paced cafe in Currambine, and we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior Kitchen Hand / Breakfast Cook to join our team.

This is a part-time position with a genuine long-term opportunity for the right person to grow with us. Perfect for someone studying Commercial Cookery (or planning to) who wants hands-on kitchen experience.

What we’re looking for:

• A quick learner who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Uses initiative and can work both independently and as part of a team
• Passion for food, hospitality and career progression
• Weekend availability plus 2 weekdays (between 6:00am – 2:30pm)
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude
• Ideally studying (or interested in studying) Commercial Cookery or similar

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting with food preparation and cooking
• Supporting the kitchen team in daily operations
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen
• Learning, developing and progressing your culinary skills
