Village Early Learning Centre in Beaumaris is looking for a passionate individual to join our vibrant team in a dual role as a Casual Educator and Centre Cook. This unique opportunity lets you combine your love for nurturing young minds with creating nutritious, delicious meals that support healthy development.

You’ll play a key part in:

• Planning and preparing fresh, wholesome meals for children across the centre

• Delivering age-appropriate learning programs as a Cert III Educator

• Creating a warm, supportive environment—whether in the kitchen or learning space

• Stay Compliant: Keep us up to speed with regulations while keeping the vibe joyful.

• Build Connections: Foster strong relationships with families and celebrate each child’s journey!

• Collaborating with a fun, professional team who value creativity, growth, and care

Requirements:

• Food Handling & Food Supervisor Certificates – your key to safe, delicious meals!

• Experience as a Childcare Cook – bring your culinary magic to our little foodies!

• Current Working with Children Check – ensuring a safe environment!

• First Aid and CPR certificates, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training – prioritising health and safety!

• Menu planning, budgeting and stock control experience – showcase your organisational skills!

• Knowledge of dietary and allergy-safe requirements – ensuring every child enjoys their meals!

• Certificate III in Cookery

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services – your passion for early childhood education shines!

• Great communication and organisational skills.
