Head Barista

11 Acre Farm is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Head Barista to join our team.

Located in Forrestdale, 11 Acre Farm is a working regenerative farm, cafe and hospitality venue where great coffee, good food and genuine hospitality come together. We have both a restaurant, The Good Paddock, and takeaway outlet, Cubby Kiosk.

As our team continues to grow and the business expands, we’re looking for someone who can take ownership of our coffee offering and lead the bar with confidence, consistency and care.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time, salaried position. Your primary role will be working as a barista, but you’ll also spend time working across the floor of The Good Paddock restaurant.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about coffee and takes pride in delivering a consistently high standard, but who also enjoys genuine hospitality and interacting with guests.

As Head Barista, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the coffee bar, maintaining quality and consistency, supporting other baristas and helping develop our coffee offering as the business continues to grow.

When working on the floor, you’ll be expected to provide the same high level of service, confidently interact with guests and work as part of the wider hospitality team.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:

• Has significant experience as a barista in a busy hospitality environment

• Has strong coffee knowledge and a genuine passion for quality

• Is confident dialling in coffee and maintaining consistency throughout service

• Takes pride in presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail

• Can work autonomously and take initiative

• Is confident working in a fast-paced environment

• Has excellent communication and customer service skills

• Enjoys working both behind the bar and on the restaurant floor

• Works well as part of a team and is happy to jump in wherever needed

• Is reliable, organised and professional

• Is looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing business

Previous experience in a senior barista, head barista or supervisory role is highly regarded.

• Salaried position based on the restaurant award. Packages starting from $62K ~ negotiable based on experience
