Angelo St Market is a busy local deli known for fresh food, quality ingredients, and friendly service. We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Deli Assistant to join our team.
As a Deli Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment preparing and serving fresh food to customers while maintaining high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing high-quality sandwiches, rolls, and gourmet deli offerings
- Delivering exceptional, personalized customer service
- Slicing and handling meats and cheeses with care
- Maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
- Ensuring product presentation is consistently at a premium level
- Supporting daily operations and team workflow
About You:
- Previous deli or food handling experience (preferred but not essential)
- Passion for quality food and customer service
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining standards
- Professional, reliable, and well-presented
- Flexible availability, including weekends
