Our client, a leader in the hospitality and fine dining industry, is currently seeking highly talented and passionate Chefs specializing in Western Cuisine to join their elite culinary team. 

 

This position is ideal for chefs who are creative, skilled, and committed to delivering high-quality cuisine and dining experiences.

 

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chef, with a specialization in Western cuisine.
  • Have a portfolio of dishes or menus created that showcase creativity and mastery in Western culinary arts.
  • Provide supporting documents, including culinary certifications, references from previous employers, a valid passport, and police clearances if applicable.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and prepare high-quality dishes with a focus on Western cuisine, ensuring each dish meets the establishment's standards for taste, presentation, and innovation.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff to uphold high culinary standards and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of culinary trends in Western cuisine and incorporate innovative and modern techniques into the menu to enhance the dining experience.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards to maintain health and safety regulations.
  • Work closely with the management team to develop seasonal menus, special event menus, and promotional offerings.
  • Engage with guests to receive feedback, accommodate special dietary requests, and ensure customer satisfaction.
 

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chef, with a significant focus on Western cuisine, in a fine dining or high-end restaurant environment.
  • Culinary Arts degree or relevant certification from a reputable culinary institution.
  • Demonstrated creativity and proficiency in menu development and execution of Western dishes.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating kitchen staff.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities, capable of working efficiently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication with team members and guests.
