Casual Weekend Barista

Casual Weekend Barista Needed!

Beth’s Bakery in East Vic Park

Are you a swift capable barista behind the machine with a passion for specialty coffee, world-class pastries and artisanal sourdough?

Beth’s Bakery is looking for an experienced, energetic, and reliable Casual Barista to join our bustling team on weekends.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love the smell of fresh bread, and pride yourself on serving up the perfect brew every single time, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

• Craft high-quality coffee and beverages consistently under pressure.
• Manage a fast-paced environment efficiently without compromising on quality or customer service.
• Keep the coffee station clean, organised, and fully stocked.
• Be a team player by jumping into any role needed—whether that's running plates, helping counter staff, or tidying up. No "glued to the machine" baristas here!
• Bring a positive, high-energy attitude to our weekend rush.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven barista experience is essential. You must be confident flying solo or working alongside a team during peak morning rushes.
• Good latte art skills are required. Your coffees need to look just as amazing as they taste.
• Full weekend availability is mandatory (Saturdays and Sundays).
• Clear, loud, and confident communication skills to keep things moving in a busy shop.
• An all-rounder mindset—you are happy to step away from the machine and get your hands dirty wherever the bakery needs you.
• Speed and efficiency behind the machine.
• A strong understanding of milk texturing and espresso extraction.
• Knowledge or experience with specialty drinks is a bonus!

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

• A fun, fast-moving, and supportive team environment.
• All the amazing bread and pastries your heart desires.
• Located in the vibrant heart of East Victoria Park.
