11 Acre Farm, Forrestdale

We are looking for an experienced and capable Cafe & Restaurant Supervisor to join our team across The Good Paddock and Cubby Kiosk, set within the unique surroundings of 11 Acre Farm in Forrestdale.

This is not a standard café / restaurant environment. We are a working hobby farm where much of what we serve is grown, harvested, or produced on site. Our venue is built around sustainability, seasonality, and creating memorable hospitality experiences in a relaxed, nature-filled setting. Think open air, garden beds, farm animals, workshops, events, and a strong connection between food, land, and community.

About the role

We are seeking someone with solid, well-rounded hospitality experience across coffee, bar, and restaurant service. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will support daily operations, guide the team during service, and help maintain consistency and calm across a busy and varied environment.

You will need to be confident making decisions on the run, adapting quickly when things change, and stepping into any section when required. No two days are the same here, and the ability to think on your feet is essential.

This role is primarily daytime service, but we also run occasional evening events, workshops, and private functions for those looking to pick up additional hours.

What we are looking for

• Strong hospitality experience across café, bar, and restaurant service

• Previous supervisory or senior team experience is highly desirable

• Confident working on coffee and able to step into all sections during service

• Ability to lead by example in a calm, organised, and supportive way

• Strong problem solving skills and ability to stay composed under pressure

• Excellent communication and team coordination skills

• Someone who takes pride in consistency, detail, and guest experience

• A long-term mindset, with interest in growing within a developing venue

The role

• Wednesday to Sunday availability (essential)

• Predominantly 7am–3pm shifts

• Additional evening shifts available during events, workshops, and private functions

• Above award wage, negotiable depending on experience - $55 - $65k annual salary
