Mr Sandwich is looking for two experienced Cafe Managers to join our growing team!
Position 1 – St George’s Terrace
Position 2 – The Victoria, East Perth
Our new East Perth location is opening in approximately 6 weeks, and the successful candidate can start immediately, training with our existing team before taking on the management of the new store.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for confident, hands-on managers who can take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy cafe and lead a team by example.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the cafe
• Leading, supporting and training the Mr Sandwich team
• Ensuring high standards of customer service
• Sandwich preparation and maintaining food quality and presentation
• Managing catering orders and ensuring they are prepared accurately and on time
• Opening and closing procedures
• Stock management and ordering
• Maintaining cleanliness, organisation and food safety standards
• Managing staff performance, rosters and daily workflow
• Creating a positive and productive team environment
• Ensuring consistency across coffee, food and service standards
About you:
Minimum 2 years’ cafe management experience or experience in a similar fast-paced hospitality environment
Confident leading and motivating a team
Hands-on and willing to jump in wherever needed
Strong organisation and communication skills
High standards and attention to detail
Able to work independently and make decisions
Passionate about hospitality, food and great customer service
$39 per hour – Casual
