Mary Street Bakery is searching for an experienced Front of House Manager as our current one is moving on to travel!

We are looking for a seasoned hospo professional with flexible days to suit your lifestyle. Shifts are 6am start until 3:30 so plenty of time for your hobbies, interests and social life!

Mary Street Bakery has established itself as a Perth institution where all products are produced in-house including bread, pastries and cakes as well as a la carte kitchen service for breakfast and lunch. We have a strong coffee focus with training from our Roastery and a lot of regular loyal customers. This job would suit someone willing to sink their teeth into something and treat it like their own business.

The role involves getting to know regular customers, staff rostering, open and close shifts, stock control, ordering, hosting the door on weekends, maintaining the venue's high standards of cleanliness and service. 

This job can be 38hrs, or for those looking for the grind can be 5 full days with a salary that reflects that. Overtime is paid for any days worked over and you are done by latest 4pm!!

The applicant must; 

  • have prior management experience in a busy cafe/restaurant environment (approved managers a huge plus!)
  • prior experience with making coffee at a high standard
  • be highly organised and clean
  • be able to motivate a team and work with chefs to achieve goals
  • bring the vibe! be energetic and engaging with staff and customers
