Whistler's Chocolate Co is a well established, West Australian family owned business operating a chocolate retail showroom, factory, gift store and café in the beautiful Swan Valley.

The café serves light meals, coffee, hot chocolates, iced drinks and cakes.


The Position

  • Friday 9.30 - 2.30
  • Saturday 9.30 - 2.30
  • Sunday 9.30 - 4

Friday and Sunday are essential. Saturday is negotiable.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and orderly
  • dishes and dish running
  • general cleaning duties
  • preparing food
  • receiving, ordering ,stocktaking and rotating stock
  • assisting with cooking light meals for our café like toasties and fish and chips
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older to be eligible for this kitchen hand position

Skills Required

  • experience working in a kitchen. This can be a school canteen or commercial kitchen
  • knowledge of stock control, stock rotation and receiving goods
  • knowledge on presentation of food
  • excellent organisational skills
  • high level of cleaning skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • ability to multi task and work quickly and efficiently
  • team player to support our team
  • be available for extra hours in the busy times like school holidays, public holidays and Easter
