Cafe Kitchen Chef and Barista

About the role

City West Kids Cafe' is looking for a talented Cafe Kitchen Cook and Barista to join our dynamic team. In this casual role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious and nutritious meals for our young customers in our West Perth, WA 6005 location.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing a variety of hot and cold meals, snacks and drinks for our cafe customers
• Ensuring all food preparation and service is completed to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Providing exceptional customer service and barista-quality coffee and beverages
• Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
• Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting your colleagues as needed

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a cafe or restaurant cook, with a passion for creating delicious, nutritious meals
• Barista skills and experience in making high-quality coffee and other beverages
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
• Relevant food handling and safety certifications
