Café Attendant — Brew Coffee Roasters Café

We are on the lookout for a talented and professional Café Attendant with a passion for providing outstanding customer service, amazing coffee, and great attention to detail. If you think you have the right attitude, experience, and want to contribute to our dynamic and fun team, then we want to hear from you.

As part of our fast-paced, happy, and professional team at Brew, your main duties will include:

- Customer service – greeting every customer warmly, taking orders accurately, and providing knowledgeable advice on our menu and retail range (YES, you'll be expected to learn and remember customers' names and orders).

- Coffee & food quality – preparing and serving coffee, tea, and food to our recipe and presentation standards, including milk texturing, dialling in, and our espresso extraction recipe.

- Café presentation – keeping the counter, food cabinet, seating, and alfresco areas clean, tidy, sanitised, and free of dishes throughout the shift.

- Stock & operations – supporting stock rotation and restocking, and operating the till/POS accurately in line with our cash handling and security procedures.

- Food safety – following HACCP procedures and completing required logs to keep our food safety standards high.

- Teamwork – communicating clearly with your managers and teammates, pitching in wherever needed, and supporting the team during busy periods.

- Ability to multitask and prioritise appropriately

- Communicate effectively and respectfully with your team and leaders

- Flexibility to cover shift changes, illness, and holidays

- High level of personal hygiene and presentation

- Reliable and punctual, ready to lead into each shift

Be prepared to grow with the team and business, with a willingness to adapt and keep developing your product knowledge (coffee origins, blends, roasts, and flavour profiles)

Our normal working hours at Brew are 6:00am–3:30pm. No weekends, no nights, and no public holidays. For the right applicant, we offer a comprehensive training schedule to ensure you're set up to succeed.
