About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced barista/counter hand to join our vibrant cafe team in Cockburn Central, WA. This is a casual role, offering flexible hours to accommodate your lifestyle. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and other café items to customers
2. Provide friendly and efficient counter service, ensuring a positive customer experience
3. Maintain a clean and well-organised work station, adhering to health and safety standards
4. Assist with general café duties, such as restocking, light food preparation, and cash handling
5. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

1. Demonstrated experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role
2. Minimum of 1+ years of barista experience is required
3. Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment and techniques
4. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide a friendly and efficient service
5. Good time management and multi-tasking abilities
6. Willingness to work flexible hours
7. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and service
