Experienced Barista Wanted (Casual) – East Perth

We’re looking for a highly experienced barista to join our team in a busy kiosk café located inside a Government building in East Perth.

This is not an entry-level position. You’ll often be working with just one other team member, so you must be confident working independently and able to manage the café without supervision.

About the role

* Casual position

* Morning shifts (generally 6:45 am – 1:30 pm)

* Consistent hours

* Long-term opportunity

* Small kiosk café with 90% regular customers

* Around 5kg+ of coffee per day

* Opening and closing responsibilities

* Taking orders, customer service and general café duties

* Paid under the Restaurant Industry Award 2026

What we’re looking for

✔ Strong specialty coffee experience (Experience working in cafés producing 5kg+ of coffee per day is highly regarded)

✔ Able to dial in grinders, adjust recipes and troubleshoot espresso machine/grinder issues

✔ Confident working independently with minimal supervision

✔ Fast, organised and calm under pressure

✔ Excellent customer service and communication skills

✔ Available at least 4 days per week, with Monday and Friday availability essential

✔ Looking for a long-term role

A paid trial shift is essential and will be part of the selection process.
