Barista

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our teams at Cub (new cafe) & Little Lion Coffee in Nedlands, Western Australia. Casual and full-time positions available, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a vibrant, fast-paced cafe environment.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and specialty drinks to our customers
• Assisting with food preparation, including sandwiches, pastries and other cafe items
• Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience
• Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
• Participating in team tasks and contributing to the overall success of the cafe

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a barista or similar cafe role
• Minimum 1-2 years of barista experience required
• Strong understanding of coffee preparation and consistency
• Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee equipment
• Preparing consistently high-quality coffee across all styles
• Managing dial-in and maintaining quality throughout service
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team
• Flexible and adaptable to handle the demands of a busy cafe environment
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Must have Australian work rights
