Assistant Manager - Inner City Cafe

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager from a similar food and beverage environment who excels in strong people management and leading others. You will enjoy thriving in a busy environment as well as leading your team to ensure a welcoming environment that strives to exceed guest expectations.

About the role:

This role is essential in assisting in the effective and efficient running of front of house operations.

• Lead by example and be hands on with your team in all aspects of café operations
• Effective management of all floor staff ensuring quality of service
• Manage costs to meet targets and identify opportunities to build the business
• Deliver exceptional service, ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality
• Responsible for stock management and ordering
• Maintain café presentation, cleanliness and Dome integrity for your team and guests

About you:

• Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced environment
• Minimum experience managing teams of 4-6 team members
• Sound decision making and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Keen interest to inspire others to learn and develop
• Passion for coffee!
• Basic knowledge of coffee and barista skills is required
