Cafe Manager

We’re on the hunt for a hands-on leader who’s as passionate about coffee as they are about creating a smooth, positive experience for both customers and team members.
If you love the hum of a busy service, thrive on structure and accountability, and know your way around a well-pulled espresso, this could be your next gig.

What you'll be doing:
· Manage day-to-day operations, including end of day POS reconciliation and locking up of venue.
· Leading, training and guiding other team members during shift; being the point of call for dealing with any customer issues.
· Hiring and rostering of all FOH coffee team members, within labour KPI’s.
· Ordering and management of stock, within ‘cost of goods’ KPI’s.
· Inbox management, including customer and supplier email correspondence.
· Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety standards.
· Drive guest satisfaction through service excellence.
· Assisting with barista duties if / when necessary.

A bit about you:
You’ve managed a cafe before and you love it – bonus points if you’ve spent years as a head barista.
You’re a people person – you make both staff and customers feel welcome and valued.
You’re genuinely passionate about specialty coffee – you know your beans and love a good chat about brew methods and flavour profiles.
You’re organised, reliable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You lead by example – rolling up your sleeves and backing your team is second nature.

Roster: Wednesday – Sunday, 5am–1pm
