About the role

We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled multitasker to join our team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role will run until the end of October 2025, offering a great opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organization of our facilities and assisting with cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of service and prepare resident's meals according to the dietary/care plans in accordance with developed menus while ensuring to follow the correct food handling techniques.

About the Facility

About You

You should ideally be an empathetic person who:

  • Enjoys working with the elderly.
  • Can work independently and as part of a team.
  • Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Has availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts over weekdays and weekends.
  • Has good communication skills and interpersonal skills.

With cleaning, you will need to have:

  • Prior cleaning experience in a health care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of infection control principles and commercial cleaning operations, including the safe use of chemicals.
  • Knowledge and prior experience in relation to laundry services(desirable).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Have full Australian working rights and able to pass a national police clearance.
With kitchen hand shifts, you will need to have:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in Healthcare Industry).
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking for large number of people.
  • A knowledge of food safety.
  • Full Australian working rights and able to pass national police clearance.
