We are seeking a Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team at Allegria Cafe

We are seeking enthusiastic an dedicated individual to join our team in a dynamic and supportive work environment. Successful applicants will have a genuine love for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Allegria Cafe operates seven days and five nights per week, providing high-quality cuisine, beverages, and exceptional service delivered by a committed team. Reporting directly to our Head Chef, this position spans five days or nights. The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a collaborative team member, demonstrate reliability and punctuality, exhibit agility in problem solving, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. Comprehensive knowledge of modern European culinary techniques is required.

Strong communication abilities are essential for effective collaboration with both kitchen and front-of-house colleagues. Familiarity with current Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Food Safety regulations is necessary, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace at all times is expected.

Remuneration will be consistent with the Restaurant Industry Award and will reflect qualifications and experience. Please note, sponsorship is not available for this role.
