Are you a passionate and creative chef looking for a flexible and dynamic work environment? We're seeking a talented Casual Cook/Chef to join our team!

Bread espresso bar, East Victoria Park

Bread espresso bar is the second café to our OJ café in Como, Bread EVP has been open for 2 years and is growing in reputation and quality. We require someone who can add to our team to continue to build the business into the go to suburban café.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals & sandwiches in a timely manner

- Assist in menu planning and development

- Ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace

- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations

- Collaborate with FOH staff to ensure smooth operations during service

Requirements

- Friday – Sunday 6.30am – 2.30pm with future possibility to extend Wednesday & Thursday. Around 24 hours per week, Fri, Sat & Sun

- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen

- Strong culinary skills and creativity

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Food handler's certificate
