Whaleback Golf Course is a beautiful public course in Parkwood, complete with a licensed alfresco café, and more. Owned by the City of Canning, we're dedicated to creating a fantastic experience for all our members and guests.

About the role

Our café is an essential part of the golfer's experience, providing a place to relax, refuel, and enjoy refreshments. As a Café Attendant, your positivity and customer-centric attitude will ensure exceptional service to golfers and visitors at Whaleback golf course.

A snapshot of your new role:

• Providing excellent customer service to all members and guests
• Preparing coffees and serving food and drinks, including sandwiches, pies and other beverages
• Handling cash, processing EFTPOS sales and using our point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Rotating and replenishing stock
• Keeping the café and dining areas spotless

Who we’re looking for:

• Reliable transport and/or means of getting to Whaleback Golf Course
• Great communication skills and a love for customer service!
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude
• RSA certificate
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate (less than 6 months old)
• Availability to work early mornings (6:30am start), evenings (to 7:00pm), weekends, and holidays
