The role

We're seeking a friendly and outgoing individual with a passion for team leadership in a fast-paced café environment. This full-time Café Team Leader role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Guild Café – Library, one of our busy outlets located on Curtin’s Bentley campus. The café offers a range of items including hot and cold meals, study snacks, barista-made coffee, and more.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory experience in the hospitality industry, including responsibility for venue operations
• Experience in effectively handling customer feedback and resolving complaints
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and solid working knowledge of general business software, with the ability to quickly learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Physical fitness appropriate to the demands of the role
• Availability to work Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 3:00pm
• Willing and able to work outside of regular office hours when required or on occasion
