The role

We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Café Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations within one of our Cafés on Curtin University's Bentley campus. In this full-time role, you'll take a hands-on approach to managing a fast-paced café environment - guiding staff, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace standards.

Our cafes serves a wide range of offerings including barista-made coffee, hot and cold meals, and convenient study snacks, making it a key spot for students and staff alike.

About you – what you’ll bring

  • Hands-on hospitality experience, confidently managing daily operations in a fast-paced, standalone venue
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proactive approach to supervising and motivating your team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a professional demeanour and passion for delivering quality experiences
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and workplace health & safety, with practical experience applying safe food handling practices
  • Experience with rostering, stock management, supplier coordination, and operational reporting
  • Skilled in training and supporting team members, and handling customer concerns calmly and effectively
  • Ability to multitask and make quick decisions under pressure during busy periods
  • Experience with tills, POS systems, and general computer applications
  • Available Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm, with flexibility to work outside these hours occasionally when needed
