Baristas x 2

We’re looking for 2 baristas to join our weekend team at K3 Artisan Coffee.

If you have great attention to detail, can trust your intuition when making decisions, and love connecting with people, we’d love to hear from you.

Since our coffee shop only operates on weekends, this opportunity is best suited to supplement your current income.

We like to do things a bit differently, and alongside specialty coffee, we also run a small retail side (more details can be shared at interview). Our space is known for being welcoming, fun, and community-focused, while still holding high standards for coffee and service.

About the role:

Weekend shifts (Sat & Sun) at Malaga Markets

• Making espresso and filter-style coffees on various equipment.
• Taking orders, preparing drinks, and engaging with customers
• Working independently at steady times and with the team during rushes

What we’re looking for:

Essential:

• 2+ years recent barista experience (espresso + milk texturing)
• Confident with V60 or other filter brewing methods
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working solo
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to adapt workflow quickly when busy

Bonus skills:

• Cupping and single-origin knowledge
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Bartending or hospitality crossover skills
• Ability to educate and upsell without the jargon
