About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista’sto join our team at Common Bakery –across multiple sites Nedlands & Fremantle

As a casual role, this position offers the flexibility to work around your schedule and commitments. You will be an integral part of our vibrant café, serving our customers delicious specialty coffee drinks and assisting with other cafe duties.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks with exceptional quality and consistency
2. Ensuring the espresso machine and other equipment are well-maintained and cleaned
3. Providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
4. Assisting with general cafe duties such as stocking, food preparation and till operation
5. Adhering to all health, safety and hygiene standards

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a barista, preferably in a fast-paced cafe environment
2. Strong knowledge of coffee beans, roasting, and brewing techniquesExcellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanour
3. Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure
4. Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
5. Flexibility to work in a casual, varied schedule
