Barista

Happy New Year 

We’re 3.8 Baysie, a community café north of the river in Bayswater, just a short walk from Bayswater Train Station — and we’re looking for an experienced barista (3+ years) to join our small, established team.

This role is for someone who already knows café life well and genuinely enjoys it. Someone who takes pride in consistency, feels comfortable during busy service, and cares about good coffee and good people.

We’re looking for:

• Solid barista experience (this isn’t a first role or post-course position)
• Confidence behind the machine in a busy café environment
• A calm, reliable team member
• Someone who enjoys building rapport with regulars and takes pride in their work

If you have major travel plans in the next 3–6 months, this likely won’t be the right fit. We’re looking for someone ready to settle in, commit, and be a steady part of the café.
