We’re on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Barista to join the team at Island Market, just in time for the busy summer season!

About the Role:

We’re after someone who can craft consistently high-quality coffee in a fast-paced beachside venue. You’ll be working with a close-knit, professional team in a high-volume environment, with the ocean as your backdrop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Confidently and consistently produce excellent coffee under pressure.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the coffee station.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with general service when required – we're a team-first venue.

Requirements:

• Proven barista experience in a busy café or restaurant setting.
• Strong understanding of coffee equipment, dialing in, and milk texturing techniques.
• Available to work weekends, school holidays, and public holidays.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and solid time management.
• RSA
